Booking terms
Clear terms for booking any of our apartments directly with me.
Payment
You pay the full amount, including the cleaning fee, at the moment you book. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment is received. Prices are in US dollars.
Not included: Bonaire's tourist tax (visitor entry tax) of $75 per person aged 13 and over and $10 for children aged 12 and under, and the $40 nature fee for anyone going into the sea. You pay these directly to the government and STINAPA. How to pay
Cancellation
- Cleaning fee: always refunded in full when you cancel.
- Christmas and New Year (19 December – 3 January): 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% up to 30 days before arrival, no refund after that.
- Change your dates once for free: up to 14 days before arrival you can move your stay to other available dates, subject to the rate for the new dates.
- If I can rent out the cancelled nights again, you get the amount for those nights back.
I recommend travel insurance with cancellation cover, so you're protected if something unexpected comes up.
During your stay
- Check-in from 15:00, check-out before 10:00
- Check in on your own with a lockbox, or get a personal welcome from me or our hostess; let us know your preference before arrival
- Maximum number of guests as stated on each apartment's page
- No pets, no parties or events, no smoking
- Damage or missing items beyond normal use may be charged
